Permanent Photo Booth Installation
Renting a booth for one night is one thing. Having one live in your venue every day is a different business, and we run it under a separate company.
Renting and installing are not the same product
A rental is an event. We arrive, we run the booth, we pack it out, and you pay for the night. That is what Motion does and it is what most people need.
A permanent installation works the other way around. The machine lives in your venue full time. Guests pay at the booth themselves, so it never becomes a line on your event budget. Nobody on your staff books it, runs it or troubleshoots it.
Those are two different businesses, so we built a separate company to do the second one properly.
Who it actually suits
Not every room. A permanent booth needs people who are already there, with a few minutes spare and a reason to want a photo. In practice that means steady footfall rather than one busy night a month.
Rooms it tends to fit:
- Bars, restaurants and breweries with a regular crowd
- Universities, student centers and campus buildings
- Bowling alleys, arcades and entertainment venues
- Hotels and event spaces with daily traffic
Rooms it does not: spaces that are quiet most of the week, or places where people are moving through rather than standing still. If you are unsure, we will tell you straight. Plenty of rooms are not a fit, and it is cheaper for everyone to find that out before anything gets installed.
The company that does it
Permanent installations run through Vertex Vending Group, our sister company. Vertex designs and builds the machines, installs them, services them, and relocates them if you ever need the floor space back. The venue earns a share of every session.
The booths themselves carry the SmileMore Photo Booths brand, which is what your guests actually see and use.
