What a photo booth actually costs in Fort Lauderdale

A photo booth in Fort Lauderdale costs between $399 and $1,250 for most events. The bottom of that range is a two hour digital booth. The top is a four hour 360 booth or a glam setup. Below about $325 you are usually looking at a drop off unit with nobody standing next to it. Above about $1,500 you are usually looking at a branded activation built for a company rather than a party.

Those are published numbers. Several Broward companies list prices on their own sites, and we have collected them further down this page. Roughly half the market publishes nothing at all, including the company with the strongest local search footprint in Broward. That means the average buyer compares two real numbers and four form fills. You should not have to do that, so here is the whole picture in one place.

Defensible price bands for Fort Lauderdale and Broward, 2026

CategoryTwo to three hoursWhat that buys
Digital only$325 to $450Photos sent to phones, no printer on site, sometimes no attendant
Standard print booth$450 to $750Open air or enclosed, prints on site, attendant, props
360 or glam$600 to $1,250Platform video or glam filter, higher setup time, more floor space
Luxury, green screen, branded activation$850 to $2,500 and upCustom build, branded output, data capture, multiple staff
Each extra hour$100 to $250Priced per hour, varies by booth and by company

If a quote you receive sits outside those bands, it is not automatically wrong. It does mean you should ask what is different. A number well under the band usually means no attendant, no printer, or no insurance. A number well over it usually means custom fabrication or a multi day install.

What Broward companies publish, side by side

Here is every Fort Lauderdale area company we could find that puts a number on a public page, plus the two that do not. We are citing published prices only. We are not ranking anyone, and a company that publishes nothing is not automatically expensive.

Esteem360 also published an editorial line worth repeating, because it is the only stated floor anyone in this market has committed to in public: a two hour photo booth rental in the Fort Lauderdale and Broward market should not be priced below $550. We do not agree with that floor, since our own two hour Social booth is $399 with an attendant included. But it tells you how a serious local operator thinks about the cost of showing up.

The most useful comparison on that table is the two hour digital row. Picture Perfect publishes $350 for a two hour digital drop off and $50 more if you want a human being there. Our Social booth is $399 for two hours with the attendant in the price. Those two numbers are forty nine dollars apart and buy different things. That is the kind of comparison you can only make when both companies publish.

What actually moves the price up or down

Six things move a Fort Lauderdale photo booth quote. Everything else is noise.

  • Hours booked. This is the single biggest lever. Each additional hour runs $100 to $250 across this market, and ours runs $150 to $250 depending on the booth.
  • Booth type. A 360 platform costs more than an open air digital booth because it needs a bigger floor area, a longer setup, and a heavier build. Our 360 is $699 for three hours against $399 for two hours on the Social booth.
  • Prints or no prints. A printer on site means consumables, a backup printer, and an attendant reloading it. Print booths sit $100 to $300 above digital only booths across the published local prices.
  • Attendant. Some packages in this market price the attendant as an extra. Ours is included on every booking, on every booth.
  • Custom output. A printed backdrop is $250 here. A full booth wrap is $250. A branded template usually is not a separate line at all, but ask, because at some companies it is.
  • Distance. Inside Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach we charge nothing for travel. Beyond that radius it is $100 to $300. YB publishes the same no travel fee policy inside Broward and Palm Beach.

Notice what is not on that list. Guest count barely moves the price. A 300 person wedding and a 120 person wedding pay the same hourly rate for the same booth. What guest count changes is how many hours you need, which is a different question and worth working out before you request quotes.

The fee you are most likely to pay by accident

Idle time. If your booth is booked from 6pm and dinner runs until 8pm, some companies bill those two dead hours at a reduced idle rate on top of your package. We do not. Idle time counts toward your booked hours, which means a 6pm to 9pm booking is three hours whether guests are in line or eating. Ask every company you quote whether idle is billed, because two idle hours at a typical market rate can cost more than the extra hour you actually wanted.

What a Fort Lauderdale wedding actually costs

Take a 150 guest reception at a waterfront venue off Las Olas. The booth opens after dinner and runs through dancing. You want prints, because a printed strip is the thing guests carry out, and you want a guest book so the strips end up somewhere other than a pocket.

  • Classic enclosed booth, three hours: $749
  • Custom printed backdrop to match the palette: $250
  • Guest book station with an attendant mounting strips: $150
  • Travel to the venue: $0
  • Total: $1,149

If you skip the backdrop and use the venue wall, that is $899. If you skip the guest book too, it is $749. Those are the three real versions of the same wedding, and most couples we quote pick the middle one.

For comparison against a published local number: Esteem360 publishes $1,000 for three hours on its 360 booth and $900 for three hours on digital. Picture Perfect publishes $850 for three hours on its 360 Experience. Our 360 is $699 for three hours. Run your own comparison on whichever booth you actually want rather than on whichever one a company leads with.

What a corporate party or gala costs in Fort Lauderdale

Corporate buyers in Broward usually want three things a wedding client does not: a certificate of insurance the venue will accept, branded output, and a clean answer on whether anyone is capturing guest data. Here are two real shapes.

A 200 person company holiday party

Open air Social booth, two hours included at $399, plus one extra hour at $150 to $250, comes to $549 to $649 for a three hour window. Add a full booth wrap in company colors at $250 if the photos are going on a company channel. Attendant included, travel inside Broward included, certificate of insurance issued within 48 hours at no charge. Our coverage is $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate, which is what most Fort Lauderdale hotel and venue contracts ask for.

A 300 guest nonprofit gala

Same Social booth for three hours at $549 to $649, plus a $250 wrap carrying the sponsor logo, lands at $799 to $899. If the board wants an email list out of it, data capture and reporting is $75. That is the whole quote. There is no setup fee, no teardown fee and no weekend premium on our price list.

Waterfront and outdoor venues change the setup, not usually the price

Fort Lauderdale runs on waterfront venues, hotel pool decks and tented lawns. None of that changes our hourly price. It changes what we need from the venue, and it is worth confirming before you sign anything.

  • Shade or a tent is required for every booth outdoors. Direct midday sun ruins the exposure and cooks the equipment.
  • Wind is the real problem on the Intracoastal. A freestanding backdrop on an open dock needs weight or it will not stay up, and a tent without sides funnels wind straight through the shot.
  • Grass is acceptable but not preferred. A hard level surface is better for the 360 platform and for the print booth.
  • Power is the question to ask the venue, not us. The Classic and AI booths need one 110v outlet within 25 feet. The Social, Headshot and Brand Activation booths need one standard wall outlet. The 360 booth needs no power at all, which makes it the easy answer for a dock, a lawn or a rooftop.
  • Ceiling height matters indoors, especially in hotel pre function areas. Most of our booths need six feet of clearance. The 360 needs seven.

Our crew arrives on site 60 minutes before doors, and setup itself runs 30 to 45 minutes depending on the booth. That hour is not billable time and it does not come out of your booked hours. If a venue has a hard load in window, tell us early and we will work to it.

Book the right thing, not the cheapest thing

Here is the honest version. If you have 40 guests, a two hour window and no interest in prints, the cheapest published options in this market will serve you fine and you do not need us. A drop off digital unit at $350 does what it says. Spend the savings on the bar.

Where the cheap number stops working is when something goes wrong. A printer jams at 9:40pm with a line of forty people. A venue asks for a certificate of insurance at 4pm on the day. A camera fails. Every one of our bookings ships with a backup camera and a backup printer, and an attendant who is there to fix exactly those problems while the party continues. That is most of what separates the $399 booth from the $350 one.

Half this market makes you fill out a form to learn a price. Here is the price.

What Motion charges in Fort Lauderdale

Our Social open air booth starts at $399 for two hours. The Headshot booth is $599 for three hours. The 360 is $699 for three hours. The Classic enclosed print booth is $749 for three hours. The AI booth is $850 for three hours. A full Brand Activation build is $2,500 for four hours. Extra hours run $150 to $250 depending on which booth you picked.

Every one of those numbers is published on our pricing page, not gated behind a form. Travel anywhere in Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach is zero. Idle time is not billed separately and counts toward your booked hours. An attendant is included on every booking, and there is a written guarantee behind all of it.

Compare the full list against the Broward table above, then check the date on the pricing page. If you want us to price a specific Fort Lauderdale venue and guest count, the quote takes about a day.

Common questions

How much does a photo booth cost for a wedding in Fort Lauderdale?

Most Fort Lauderdale weddings land between $450 and $1,250. A three hour print booth is the common choice and runs $450 to $750 across published local prices. Ours is $749 for three hours with an attendant included. Add $250 for a custom backdrop and $150 for a guest book station if you want them.

How much is a photo booth for 4 hours?

Four hours runs roughly $800 to $1,250 in this market. Esteem360 publishes $1,250 for four hours on its 360 booth. Our 360 is $699 for three hours plus $150 to $250 for the fourth, so $849 to $949. Before you buy four hours, check whether you actually need them.

Are there extra fees I should expect on a Fort Lauderdale photo booth quote?

The ones that catch people are travel, idle time, overtime, setup, and print caps. Ours are simple: no travel fee in Broward, Miami-Dade or Palm Beach, no separate idle charge, no setup fee. Extra hours are $150 to $250. We published the complete fee list, including the ones we do charge, in a separate post.

Why are some photo booth rentals so cheap?

Usually one of three reasons. No attendant on site, which several published local packages state outright. No liability insurance, which many Fort Lauderdale venues will not accept. Or no backup equipment, so a printer jam ends the booth for the night. A cheap booth is not a scam. It is a smaller scope.

Is there a travel fee to Fort Lauderdale from Davie?

Not from us. Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach are inside our included radius, so travel to any Fort Lauderdale venue is zero. Beyond the three counties it is $100 to $300. One other Broward company, YB, also publishes a no travel fee policy inside Broward and Palm Beach.

How far in advance should I book a photo booth in Fort Lauderdale?

For a Saturday in season, treat three to six months as normal and book earlier if your date falls in December or in graduation season. Midweek corporate dates are far easier. If your date is close, ask anyway. We do not charge a rush fee, so a short lead time costs you availability rather than money.
